The product photograph is misleading. The colors on the wheel are very pale, and therefore the light projected on the tree does not tint the tree like the old wheels did. It is difficult to tell the difference between some of the colors; only the blue section makes the tree look vaguely blue. Additionally, the post holding the color wheel comes out of the sleeve after a certain number of rotations, probably because it is not threaded the proper way. I do not have time to return this and order something else, so my planned fix is to cover the wheel with sections of colored cellophane gels; hoepfully that will deepen the intensity of the colors.
